Badulla ringkonna kohta
Badulla on Sri Lanka Uva provintsi pealinn. Badulla asub Kandy kaguosas, peaaegu täielikult Badulu Oya jõe poolt ümbritsetuna, umbes 680 meetri (2200 jala) kõrgusel merepinnast ja seda ümbritsevad teeistandused. Linna varjutavad Namunukula mäestikud. Badulla asub Colombost umbes 230 km kaugusel Sri Lanka kesksete küngaste idanõlvade suunas. Badulla ja selle ümbrus on ökoturistidele väga soovitatavad, kuna Horton Plainsi rahvuspark ja Knucklesi mäed on vaid mõne tunni kaugusel. Badulla erilised kohad: Muthiyangana tempel, Dhowa tempel, Bogoda iidne puusild, Rawana juga.
Uva provintsi kohta
Uva provints on Sri Lanka suuruselt teine hõredamalt asustatud provints, kus elab 1 187 335 inimest ja mis loodi 1896. aastal. See koosneb kahest ringkonnast: Badulla ja Moneragala. Provintsi keskus on Badulla. Uva piirneb ida-, lõuna- ja keskprovintsiga.
