Turmoil At The Villa

"Turmoil at the Villa" is a sequel by Terrence Perera, following the Hernando family in Sri Lanka. The story revolves around William, the younger brother, and his forbidden love for a socially inferior girl. William, a skilled cricketer, competes in the Cricket World Cup Final. The narrative takes a political turn as Reshan, the family patriarch, enters politics, unaware of corruption. Upon realizing the deceit, tragedy befalls the family, emphasizing the clash between personal aspirations and societal expectations in Sri Lankan life.
